Blenheim attack 3

Rotterdam appears after the run across the Hook of Holland. Bombs dropped from such a dangerously low level as to shake the British bombers have fallen in the great new harbour works on south side of the New Maas River, an outlet of the Rhine. There seem to be hits on the Katendrecht docks. The plane is about to pass over the heart of the city. Beyond Het Park at upper right, the Pilgrim Father’s sailed July 22 1620. In foreground and left is desololation left bty brutal German bombing May 12 1940.
